Playing Haydn Seek in Manchester

2017 April 24

PULP was recently sent a CD and some bumpf from Royal Northern College of Music telling us all about a new season of events they have coming up surrounding the work of Joseph Haydn. That was rather nice of them.

The series runs from Friday 8 May and Haydn The Innovator “promises to capture the joy and spirit of Haydn’s music in its many forms.” It concludes with a performance of Haydn’s arguably most famous work The Creation, on Saturday 13 June.

Events take place at RNCM and The Bridgewater Hall, performed by Manchester Camerata and the BBC Philharmonic among others.

Tickets are available online or in person from the venues, with full details of the whole series at Discounts are available for students, along with the highly-recommended Sonic Card, which offers further discounts to students at selected performances.
